The Journal is the only peer-reviewed  forum covering all trans-disciplinary OMICS-related areas such as integrative (systems) biology and medicine from diverse specialties that include bioinformatics, computational biology, and biomedical informatics. Papers are published on data standards, meta-data, data sharing, databases, biobanks and cloud computing as well as methodological papers focused statistical analysis and algorithmic development.

As a worldwide publication, with readers in 170 countries, OMICS encourages authors to submit manuscripts  on capacity building for developing world OMICS.
