Thanks to OKINBRE and Tulsa Community College, Dr. Sandra Porter will be speaking in a workshop for community college and high school faculty on the Molecules of Disease, Friday, Mar 27th, 2015.
The workshop will cover biotech careers, the NCBI, genetic testing and the Bio-ITEST curriculum, BLAST, and using molecular modeling to understand how changes in a protein sequence can produce changes in a protein's structure that lead to disease.
The workshop facilitators are:
